With its feather-lightweight design - tipping the scales at a mere 52 grams - and an impressive 4K polling rate, this mouse redefines the gaming experience. 3D Animation
In the creation of this ad, I primarily work on rigid body animations to achieve precise and mechanical yet fluid animations. Assembling each component of the FNATIC x LAMZU THORN Wireless Mouse in an animation serves as an example to showcase its lightweight composition. Additionally, the ad features basic yet effective robot arm animations, illustrating the seamless integration of the product into gaming environments.
Environment Creation
The project also entails the creation of three distinct environments: a captivating gaming desk setup, an atmospheric realm containing obsidian shards, and an e-sports arena. Each environment was designed to complement the dynamic narrative, adding depth and visual richness to the ad.
Retopology
During lighting tests, I encounter a challenge with the manufacturer's 3D model of the mouse, which contains significant issues of irregular geometry. Surface smoothing operations prove impractical due to these mesh irregularities, resulting in visible corners along the curved edges of the mouse. To address this, I decide to manually retopologize the corpus of the mouse to ensure a seamless and visually smooth surface, ultimately elevating the overall quality of the product's appearance.
